Organic Cotton Supplier Osaka, Japan Produces Banshu-ori using a technique that dates back to the 1700’s and is rarely still practiced. This Japanese Cotton is durable, pill-resistant and soft. Sweater Factory Inner Mongolia Their garments contain 70% of their own fiber sourced from their ranch. Wool is imported from domesticated Italian sheep to create Italian Merino Wool. The sheep are sheared only during summer months to prevent heat exhaustion. They also produce Inner Mongolia Cashmere which is obtained when Mongolian goats naturally shed hair. Tencel is extracted from raw material wood; it’s production uses 70% less land and 5% less water than cotton. As if that’s not exciting enough, it’s more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk, and cooler than linen. They also produce the absorbent, breathable and long-lasting Japanese Linen, which is made from flax plant fibers.
